El Calafate: is a city located on the southern shores of the Argentino Lake, in the region of Patagonia, province of Santa Cruz, Argentina. It is 80 kilometers (49.7 mi) from Perito Moreno Glacier.
Los Glaciares National Park:

is located in the region known as Austral Andes of the Argentinian territory, in the southwest area of the province of Santa Cruz, at the border with Chile. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1981. The landscape includes mountains, lakes, and forests, and the famous Perito Moreno Glacier.

Curve of the Sighs: is a viewpoint from where you can admire the southern face of the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Puerto Bajo las Sombras


is located on the way to Perito Moreno Glacier, 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) before the viewpoints. It is the departure point for the boats for the tours to approach the glacier.

Perito Moreno Glacier:

is the best known and most impressive of the glaciers in the national park. It is located on the south end, opposite the Magallanes Peninsula, and shows the phenomenon where its large mass of ice moves continuously, causing accumulation, rupture, and detachment of huge ice blocks.
